of Attorney (LPA)
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document and a deed that empowers you to plan for the unexpected. This allows you to appoint a trusted individual(s) known as your “donee(s)” to make decisions on your behalf should you lose your mental capacity in the future. This could be due to reasons like dementia, a severe accident, or even a temporary illness. The LPA also gives the authority to the Donee to sign deeds on the Donor’s behalf.
